Biomecha is a story that deals with tackling obstacles and difficult situations.
The story revolves mainly around Reiko and Toshio. With uncontrolleable arms grafted onto his shoulders from a freak accident, Toshio struggles with daily life. However, he is not alone - he joins a school where he meets numerous friends who support each other daily.
Stuck in a school forced to attend classes that go completely over her head, Reiko finds solace in the friends she has met. It's a little difficult dating a guy who doesn't mean to crush you! Constantly optimistic, she is very supportive of all her friends' endeavours.
With a supporting cast of other friends and colleagues, the story concentrates on each character in turn. It has been in production since 1995 and continues to run through Sweatdrop.
