"Charas" is short for "Characters". I drew a lot of fan art based upon the characters from many of my favourite anime and manga series. As I was interested in anime and manga from a young age, there were no tutorials or "How To" books around to guide me through, so a lot of copying of existing styles and modification/tweaking was needed so that I could generate a style I could call my own take on anime and manga.
